Bacon County Hospital and Health System

Our healthcare system now includes a number of integrated components that deliver a wide range of services.

Bacon County Hospital and Health System

Bacon County Hospital and Health System, a 25-bed, general, acute care hospital, is accredited by The Joint Commission and provides adult and pediatric medical care, surgery and obstetrics.

Twin Oaks Convalescent Center

The Twin Oaks Convalescent Center, an 88-bed long term care facility, is a skilled and intermediate care facility fully licensed by the State of Georgia.

Bacon County Community Care Center

The Community Care Centers provide primary level family care services, including episodic and chronic illness care, and patient & family education. Emphasis is on early intervention for disease prevention and health promotion. Community and industrial programs available include breath alcohol testing, urine drug screen collections, CPR and first aid instruction and other programs emphasizing healthy life styles and covering various health care topics.

ABC Child Development Center

The ABC Child Development Center serves children ranging from six weeks to twelve years of age. The early childhood program is designated to provide a safe and nurturing environment while promoting the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children. The curriculum is sensitive to individual learning styles and respects the range of differences within a single child.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Many in our communities suffer from an array of lung conditions that affect their activities and quality of life.
This program will help people take back their ability to function and enjoy the things they love to do in life.
It is disheartening and stressful not being able to just perform daily activities when your lung condition limits you or causes frequent exacerbations and infections.
COPD has become the third leading cause of death in the United States behind heart disease and cancer.
These lung conditions affect both the patient and their families.
