Laboratory Services

Our Department of Laboratory Services is a full service Laboratory and is accredited by JCAHO, and licensed by the State of Georgia, and CLIA. Equipped with state-of-the art instrumentation, the laboratory is subject to stringent internal and external quality control programs. BCH Laboratory subscribes to proficiency testing programs through the American Association of Bioanalyst.

Laboratory Hours for Outpatient Lab Testing are Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM.

Certain Tests require patient to Fast for 8 - 12 hours. (Please check with your physician or call the Laboratory)

All tests require a physician's order, and some tests require an appointment. Patients must register in Admissions before tests can be performed.
